Hoagy Carmichael's hit from the 1940s receives a rich, jazz-inspired setting with this expressive and emotional arrangement for SATB a cappella choirs. Traditional meets nontraditional chord structures and flexible and accessible vocals allows performance with strictly four parts or expanded vocal options for larger ensembles.
Commissioned in 2024 for the Aeolians of Oakwood University, under the direction of Jeremy Sovoy Jordan.
