Paul Williams and Kenny Ascher received an Academy Award nomination for this top 40 hit from the 1979 film, The Muppet Movie. In 2020, it was deemed “culturally, historically, and aesthically significant” by the Library of Congress. This exquisite a cappella arrangement is rich with detailed choral writing, elevating the original melody and lyric to new heights for today's contemporary performances.
In 2025, it was commissioned and premiered by the Davidson Chorale, under the direction of Phillip R. Streetman, for the National ACDA Conference.
